Disney Temple

I'm not sure when I developed a visual association between the Salt Lake City LDS temple and the Disney Pictures logo- but, I had to make that association come into fruition. I've often associated Temple Square, in Salt Lake City, like a sort of Disneyland for those of the Mormon faith as well. In my opinion- both are pretty awesome places.

Final Project ROUGH Animation. Eric, here's what I put together tonight. I'm struggling with perspective and aesthetics. I think with some work tomorrow I'll get it looking better as far as materials and design go, but I'm not sure how exactly to get the perspective on the ball correct-it looks pretty bad. I just wanted to be sure to get this to you as soon as possible for your feedback.  (And the playback of the video seems choppy on my computer- hopefully not for you. ) Thanks for your feedback. -Sam

I struggled with my projection tiling(,  so I just put the pattern as a 'seat cover' for now)I tried to leave pleanty of white space on the original .png file as suggested in the videoand even then it didn't render correctly. On Tuesday perhaps I could get more clarification. Also, speaking of my stylesheets as a whole, I think that this is all pretty basic, nothing too special- I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of these different elements working together. I hope to have something a little more conceptual thought out for the final product. -

I'm sorry to say- I'm a little stuck. Call it analysis paralysis, incompetence, or indecisiveness, whichever- but my assignment isn't ready right now. Lots of ideas, no beginnings though. Hopefully coming soon. I'll be in touch.

First render of my Sego Logo. 

I'm back. It's been over a year but now I have to post work for one of my classes on a blog. I am xcited because I think it will help me to reflect and quantify on what I'm learning and doing- because it is all about the process- I'm learning to love the process. I love solving problems. 

This is an assignment where we had to create some logos to be used in Cinema 4-D to start doing some rad things with dimension, lighting and motion. More to come.
